Strings are just little strips of fabric that are sewn together to make a bigger piece of fabric. If you are not a quilter that likes to use a multitude of wonderful little pieces of fabric, the pattern can be used without strings quite simply. All of the strings will be applied to a base fabric. Just use the base fabric requirements, as your fabric requirement.

Pattern includes instructions for: Crib size ( 49" X 57"), Full/Queen size (88" X 98"), and King size (100" X 100").
